My creative work is as much an exploration of my chosen materials – wool, wood, charcoal, graphite, ink and watercolour – as it is about the wonders of the natural world.
Organics, evolution, survival, needs, life cycles and the physical, emotional and spiritual wealth this can provide us with during our lifetime feed my work in a timely and seasonal way. I see life as a circle, all things returning to their origins.
From the smallest seed to the mighty oak, from the discarded egg shell to the miracle of migration and back, from the veins on the leaves to the short-lived delicacy of the blossom. It all mirrors our existence if we take the time to look, listen, breath and learn to live in tune with our souls and intuition.
